What makes coconut wax better than paraffin?
Paraffin is a petroleum by-product that releases soot when burned. Coconut wax is naturally derived, vegan and burns at a lower temperature, which means a slower, more even melt, less soot and fewer black marks on your walls and ceilings.
How long does a refillable candle burn?
Around 35 to 40 hours. Let it burn for at least 2 hours on the first use so the wax melts evenly to the edges, which prevents tunnelling on future burns.
How do I get the best burn from my candle?
Trim the wick to 5mm before every burn, keep the candle away from draughts, and never burn for more than 4 hours at a time. Always burn on a heat-safe surface and keep it away from children and pets.
Can I refill my candle?
Yes. Choose the Refill Pod option on any refillable candle page and keep your existing vessel. If you never want to run out, subscribe and save 10% on a monthly refill pod.
Are your candles vegan and cruelty-free?
Yes. We use coconut wax rather than beeswax, eco-cotton wicks and phthalate-free fragrance oils that are vegan and never tested on animals.
