Winter Fragrance

Some scents don't just smell like Christmas. They feel like it — the warmth before the door opens, the cold air you bring in on your coat, the kitchen on Christmas morning before anyone else is awake.

Each year from October, we hand-pour a small collection of winter candles and festive wax melts from our Shropshire studio. Three scents, made in small batches from natural coconut wax. Phthalate-free, vegan, and gone when the season ends.

The Winter Scents

Winter Embrace — Spiced orange, clove, nutmeg, and cinnamon with ylang-ylang underneath. This is the Christmas candle for people who find most festive scents too sharp or too sweet. It's warm, complex, and genuinely wearable as a home fragrance — the kind of scent you want filling your house on a grey December afternoon.

Real Fir Trees — Snow-dusted pine and eucalyptus. If you want your home to smell like an actual Christmas tree rather than a synthetic approximation of one, this is it. Clean, cold, and properly festive without trying too hard. It works as well in January as it does in December.

Limited Edition — One new scent every year, announced on launch day and available until it's gone. Each year something different: we don't repeat them.

How to Use Winter Home Fragrance

Every scent is available as a refillable coconut wax candle and as botanical wax melts, so you can choose how fragrance lives in your space. Candles work well in living rooms and hallways where you want a focal point. Wax melts are better for kitchens and smaller rooms — consistent, flameless, and easy to swap between scents.

The Winter Wax Melt Discovery Box contains all three winter scents and is our most popular starting point for the season. It's the best way to find your favourite before committing to a full candle, and it makes a genuinely good gift for anyone who hasn't tried scent this way before.

Our scented hanging tree decorations are something a little different. Shaped and scented by hand in our studio, they're designed to hang on your Christmas tree and release fragrance gently as warm air rises through the branches. They don't replace a candle — they work alongside one, layering scent through your room in a way that a single source can't. If you care about how your home smells at Christmas, these are worth trying.

Christmas Gift Sets

We put together a small number of winter gift boxes each year — curated combinations of candles, wax melts, and decorations, packaged and ready to give. They tend to sell early. If you're buying for someone who cares about their home, check these before the season gets busy.

When Is the Winter Collection Available?

The 2026 winter collection launches on 2nd October and runs while stocks last through December. We don't restock mid-season — hand-poured in small batches means limited quantities. When they're gone, that's it until next autumn.
