Wax Melt Burners — The Foundation of Your Fragrance Ritual

A wax melt burner is where your home fragrance ritual begins. Place a disc from our botanical wax melt collection into your burner, apply gentle heat, and let the fragrance slowly build and fill your space. The right burner makes a genuine difference — consistent, even heat draws the fragrance out gradually, giving you hours of scent rather than a quick burst that fades.

Why choose our Wax Burners?

  • Designed for wax melts — the right heat output to maximise fragrance throw and melt time from our discs.
  • Clean, considered design — pieces worth displaying, not hiding away.
  • Easy to clean — let the wax cool and solidify fully, then flex the dish slightly to pop it out cleanly.
  • Compatible with all our wax melts — swap scents freely without residue or mixing.

Wax Burners — Common Questions

What's the difference between electric and tealight wax burners?
Tealight burners use a standard tealight candle beneath the dish to melt the wax — they give a warm, candlelit ambience alongside the fragrance. Electric burners use a low-wattage bulb or heating plate for a flameless option, ideal for households with children, pets, or anyone who prefers not to have an open flame. Both work well with our wax melts.

How do I clean my wax melt burner?
Let the wax cool completely and solidify in the dish. Once solid, flex the dish gently — the wax disc should pop out cleanly. Wipe any residue with a dry paper towel. Avoid running cold water over a warm dish, as thermal shock can crack ceramic.

How many wax melt discs should I use at once?
Start with one disc and see how the scent fills your space. Larger rooms may benefit from two. More wax doesn't always mean a stronger scent — it can just mean a longer burn time.

How hot should a wax melt burner get?
The wax should melt slowly and gently, not bubble or smoke. If using a tealight, a standard 4-hour tealight is ideal. If your wax is getting too hot or the scent fades very quickly, try a lower-wattage tealight or move the burner slightly away from draughts.

Can I use any brand of wax melts in your burners?
Yes — our burners work with any standard wax melt. That said, they're designed and tested specifically with our botanical coconut wax discs, so you'll get the best results using them together.
