What to Expect

A relaxed candle-making experience designed for connection, creativity, and a little indulgence.

From the moment you arrive, you'll be welcomed with a glass of Prosecco (or a non-alcoholic alternative) and invited to settle into an evening of scent, conversation, and mindful making.

Together, we'll guide you through the process of creating two beautiful coconut wax candles from scratch. You'll explore a collection of carefully selected fragrances, choosing the scents that speak to you before blending and pouring your own handcrafted candles.

No experience is needed. Whether you're joining us with friends, enjoying a date night, or treating yourself to a solo evening out, this workshop is all about slowing down and enjoying the process.

With a delicious seasonal nibble, a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and plenty of guidance along the way, you'll leave with two candles you've created yourself, new skills, and memories made.

Your Host

Danny Williams is the founder of Aroma Quartz — a small-batch, hand-poured candle studio rooted in the Shropshire countryside. With a deep love for scent, slow living, and intentional creation, Danny has spent years exploring the relationship between fragrance and emotional well-being.

His workshops are known for their warmth, unhurried pace, and the genuine care poured into every detail — creating a space where you can slow down, breathe, and make something truly your own.

This is the second candle making workshop that I have done with aroma quartz, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed both! You can really feel the thought that Danny puts into each element of the products that he supplies and the experiences that he creates for people to enjoy. Wicks and sips is good value as you come home with two high quality, ethically sourced, beautifully scented candles along with an enjoyable, fun evening.
